At the Intimacy Center we believe that we must understand you before we can help you. Our assessment process includes personality
testing and other written questionnaires as well as a careful history taking. We then present to you a clear treatment plan so that you
will know exactly the path before you to achieve you goals.

Sexual Addiction/Co-addiction Recovery

Our model of recovery is based on an interpersonal model proposing that sexual addiction and sexual co-addiction (i.e. the syndrome
typically present for persons married to sex addicts) are intimacy disorders. That is, the dysfunctional behaviors are the means of
coping with the pain of the lack of healthy, intimate relationships.

Groups help you to:

•        Understand cycles
•        Increase accountability
•        Develop relationship skills
•        Diminish Shame
•        Apply spiritual resources

Groups are currently available for:

•        Men recovering from sex addiction
•        Women in relationship with a sex addict
•        Couples

Marital Therapy

Marriage is the most difficult but also the most rewarding of human relationships.
Too many couples head for the divorce court when they become locked in chronic power struggles and pain in their marriage. We
blieve that our marital struggles can be a crucible and pain in their marriage. We believe that our marital struggles can be a crucible in
which we throw off our hurtful ways and learn to love our partners deeply.

Sexual Therapy

Pain in a marriage inevitably shows up in the sexual relationship.

We help couples overcome:

•        Erectile dysfunction
•        Premature ejaculation
•        Difficulty having orgasms
•        Difficulties coming together sexually

Sexual Trauma Recovery

When the preciousness of one's sexuality has been exploited by another, it leaves a wound of shame and distrust. We help survivors
to find healing of their trauma and to develop new patterns of boundaries, assertiveness, risk and trust.

In addition to the above four areas of specialization, we also offer services to help a broad range of problems including:

•        Depression
•        Anxiety
•        Childhood problems
•        Other relational problems

Spirituality

We believe that God is the creator of all things good and our lives ultimately find their meaning in living out God's purpose for us. We
practice psychotherapy consistent with our Christian values but welcome clients of any (or no) faith to be on this journey toward
intimacy and wholeness.
